A wireless local-area network (LAN) uses radio waves to connect devices such as laptops and mobile phones to the Internet and to your business network and its applications.

When you connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot at a cafe, a hotel, an airport lounge, or another public place, you’re connecting to that business’s wireless network. This brings up a very important topic of network segmentation and data security as the network owner and yourself should be seriously concerned about privacy of the transmitted and accessible data. This is exactly why the home wireless routers are not compliant to be used in a corporate environment!

We deploy, configure and manage enterprise wireless network solutions that provide full control over network segments, allow user authorisation, traffic shaping and protect your network from hacker attacks that can happen at any time!

There are also different grades of wireless systems to be used each for it’s own kind of application.

Managed office WiFi systems

Hardware or software network controller is at the heart of the WiFi environment that is set to create and store network configuration, register and provision settings to Access Points, manage user authorisation etc. This segment uses standard 802.11A/B/G/N/AC protocols and runs on either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz radiolinks.

We rely on radio field analysis in every installation to make sure your wireless environment is configured to use the most of the available free radio bandwidth.

Managed outdoor WiFi systems

This segment is similar to the office setup, however there are several additional concerns to pay attention to while deploying the outdoor wireless network. Electrical connection stability, lightning protection, radio frequency load, distances and weather conditions.

In addition to radio field analysis we test and measure the overall setup scenario in the virtual environment, provided by hardware vendor to make sure connections will be stable under any weather conditions. During the equipment mounting process we make sure all the connections and installation equipment is firmly in place and that no unauthorised person can reach to any of devices or cables.

Managed Carrier-Grade radio bridges

This segment is very different from WiFi. Network operators frequently use radio connectivity to bridge towers or reach out to places that are not covered by wired networks. Distances in this segment are usually measured in Kilometres and bandwidth is usually measured in Gigabits per second. Radio technologies supporting this type of connectivity are usually set to work in Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multipoint topology, allowing only authorised devices to participate in the network.
